About Sei Pizza Bar

This location's name will be changing to Sei Pizza Bar. Starting June 13, our weekend hours are temporarily changing to open 12pm-5pm. No changes to weekday hours. Open for dine-in (walk-in only) and takeout!

Located at 8781 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035, Sei Pizza Bar operates as a pizza restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Los Angeles, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across California on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 4–10 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Its website is pizzeriasei.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There is a reason this place is top 2. One of the best pizzas i have had. The crust is on point! Topping so fresh! Great service! It does get packed. Lucky we got a seat and just walk in. We will come back and try other pizzas. Well worth it! If your craving pizza this is the place to go! Came back again!

Really enjoyed my experience here. The pizzas were super tasty and had a lot of unique combinations that felt thoughtful without being overcomplicated. I also loved the open kitchen concept it was fun being able to watch everything being made and baked fresh right in front of you. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the handmade dough made a big difference. The servers were also incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the meal, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. If I had to complain about anything, it would probably be that they ran out of tiramisu before I could try it. But honestly, that just gives me a good excuse to come back. The pizzas also took a little while to come out, though it’s understandable since everything is made fresh to order. Overall, definitely a spot I’d come back to again.

Best wood-fired pizza I’ve had in LA so far. This place absolutely deserves the hype. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The tiramisu was also really good. It leaned a little creamier than traditional tiramisu, which I actually prefer. I think my slice may have come from the end piece, so it didn’t have quite as much of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers, but it was still delicious overall.

I’ve been planning to visit this place for a year and finally got myself here. The pizzas were delicious and fluffy. Tiramisu cake was tasty as well. You can feel the quality of ingredients in the pizza. Prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese, and especially the dough were remarkable! The best pizza in LA and maybe in the entire country. Highly recommend if you’re in search of a high-quality slice. πŸ•

I’ve been curious to visit Pizza Sei, especially after they were ranked 9th on the Top 50 Pizza World 2025 and with William Joo winning Pizza Maker of the Year 2025. Pretty remarkable recognition for what is essentially a hole-in-the-wall pizza spot in LA. The space is tiny with about six tables and a few counter seats. No surprise that reservations on Resy are nearly impossible; I saw dates almost a year out. It’s located on a quiet corner near Pico and Robertson, and parking is…challenging, to say the least. Blink and you might miss it if not for the line of people waiting outside. The large pizza oven dominates the space, taking up what feels like a quarter of the restaurant. The menu is simple and focused, which I always appreciate. For context, we’ve been loyal to Pizzeria Mozza since Nancy Silverton opened it 20 years ago. Combined with our travels in Italy and New York, that’s been our benchmark for great pizza. We started with the Tricolore salad. It was fine, the endive added a nice bitter note but honestly, if you’re craving that, Mozza still does it better. We ordered the Diavola and Funghi pizzas, along with Cantabrian chili and anchovies on the side. Our verdict?
